6. What is a Web Part ?
Web Parts are reusable components that display
content on web pages in SharePoint 2013. Web Parts are a fundamental component
in building SharePoint pages
7. Difference between standard web part
and visual web part in SharePoint ?
Visual Web Part is only a tool that enables the
developer to work with a user control instead of creating all controls in code behind.
8. What are Event Receivers ?
SharePoint
contains list and libraries which allows you to store and organize your
content.
1.
When you add a list item you would like to prevent
the user from saving the item until they meet specific validation requirements.
2.
Synchronize content between sites.
3.
Prevent certain sites or content from being deleted.
4.
Create your own custom logging when a specific type
of content is added to the system.
5.
Automatically add metadata to your content based
which library or site it is added to.
6.
Call a service to another application
These scenarios, and many more, can be
handled by Event Receivers in SharePoint. When an event occurs, such as an
item is added to a list, an event is triggered. Custom code can be associated
with the event, and this code will run when the event is triggered, allowing us
to do anything we want with that content during or after the event occurs.
There
are also two types of events that can occur.
1. After events occur after the event completes
2.Before events occur before
the event completes.
The
Before events allow us to do validation and even prevent the event from
occurring if necessary.

What are workflows ? Type of workflow ?
Workflows
are the way an organization functions, a series of actions that correspond to a
work process, such as the process for purchase orders. SharePoint 2010 helps
you automate these workflows, thereby increasing the efficiency and
productivity of the organization.
Types
of workflow that you can design in SharePoint.
List
Workflows :associate one list and cannot reuse,
Reusable
List Workflows and Site workflows .
10.
What is declarative workflows ?
The workflow is described (literally) in XAML and
then executed interpretively at run time.
Thank you very much
